You can import an account unrelated with your seed phrase directly with its Private Key or its View Key. By nature, imported accounts will not be recovered by importing your seed phrase in the future, you will have to import the account again.

Import an account using its View Key

By importing an account using its view key, you can see transaction history as well as holdings of the account, but cannot sign messages nor initiate transactions.

1. Open the wallet.
2. Click on the active account name on top left of Home panel.
3. Click on "Import Account".
4. Open the "Private Key" tab.
5. Fill out the Private Key input field.
6. Click the "Import Account" button.

Import an account using its Private Key

Instead, by importing an account using its private key you have access to every features of Leo wallet for that account.

1. Open the wallet.
2. Click on the active account name on top left of Home panel.
3. Click on "Import Account".
4. Open the "View Key" tab.
5. Fill out the View Key input field.
6. Click the "Import Account" button.

Delete an imported Aleo account

You cannot delete accounts derived from your seed key phrase, meaning an account added using "Create or restore Account" feature. This is because your seed phrase will always be able to regenerate this account. Although it is possible to delete any imported account, here are the steps to do so:

1. Open the wallet.
2. Click on the active account name on top left of Home panel.
3. Select the account you want to remove from the list to make it active.
4. Open the "Settings" tab.
5. Scroll down to "Remove Account" and click on the button.
6. Fill out the password input field.
7. Click the "Remove"button.
